Casa VERA, un tempo scuderia dell'antico palazzo appartenuto al Signore Guinigi (1400), è stata trasformata in un accogliente appartamento con giardino privato recintato. La ristrutturazione è stata eseguita secondo i più alti standard e comprende 2 confortevoli camere da letto (entrambe con letti king size), 2 bagni entrambi con grandi docce integrate, ARIA CONDIZIONATA, WIFI, un giardino privato recintato arredato con tavolo e sedie e un piccolo divano, vari tipi di elettrodomestico e utensili da cucina.
L'appartamento ha un doppio ingresso, uno dal giardino ed uno dalla strada. È composto da: un'ampia zona giorno con soggiorno, una cucina completamente attrezzata con sala da pranzo, 2 camere matrimoniali, 2 bagni e una LAVANDERIA con lavatrice/asciugatrice, ferro e asse da stiro.
L'appartamento è esposto al sole tutto il giorno il che lo rende molto luminoso tutto il giorno, cosa molto rara in Italia!
La posizione è la più tranquilla e bella, con vista sui giardini da cui proviene il delizioso cinguettio degli uccelli.
L'appartamento è consigliato per 2 coppie di amici che viaggiano insieme in quanto l'organizzazione delle camere da letto e dei bagni garantisce privacy a tutti. Sarà perfetto per 2 amici che non vogliono condividere la stessa camera da letto e lo stesso bagno, nonché per una famiglia di 4 persone.

We found the recycling of garbage somewhat confusing. We suggest that there are separate bins in the house, colour-coded and labelled appropriately particularly for the food etc waste.

If 4 people are staying it would be nice to figure out a way to add a chair to the sitting area so everyone can sit together and relax. The ottoman works but isn’t super comfortable. But I really enjoyed the stay.

The owners are clearly cultured people plenty of books, lovely decorations. Mrs Soni provided top class service and we loved her. Were we to return to Lucca we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We just returned from a fantastic month in Lucca in this exquisite apartment just inside the walls close to the P. Santa Maria and San Frediano. This was my 3rd stay in Lucca and my 3rd time renting from Mrs. Sonia, who manages a wide range of really beautiful apartments in Lucca. Mrs. Sonia is professional, organized, responsive, and kind. Her properties are well maintained, clean, well appointed, and nicely decorated. This bright and beautiful antique-filled apartment has 2 good sized bedrooms with comfortable large beds and lots of storage. The 2 large, modern, fully-tiled bathrooms (1 ensuite and 1 off the hallway) have huge rain shower heads and top of the line plumbing fixtures. The living room and kitchen are on the smaller side they are open to each other through a lovely high archway and have very high ceilings and 3 large double windows looking across the street & open space to the historic walls. The narrow living room has a comfy large sofa & ottoman and a flat screen TV. The kitchen has a marble topped table with 4 chairs, full-sized fridge, dishwasher, 4 burner gas cooktop, oven (all new appliances) and plenty of dishes, tableware, and cookware. The lighting throughout the apartment is excellent, with a beautiful Venetian chandelier in the kitchen, sconces in the living room, hall, and bedroom, georgeous antique lamps in the living room and bedrooms, and modern ceiling lighting throughout. The flooring is antique tile from Florence laid in a herringbone pattern with nice throw rugs to make things cozy one bedroom has beautiful wood floors. Both bedrooms are in the back of the apartment away from the street, so they are quiet at night, and both have luxurious ceiling to floor heavy silk draperies which make the rooms very dark for sleeping but when pulled back in the day fill the rooms with loads of natural light and lovely views of the private gated garden which is equipped with a table, 4 chairs, umbrella, & chaise lounge. The apartment's location is a 2 minute walk from the walls, the main shopping street, many bakeries & cafes, and is an easy walk to public transportation. The large supermarket outside the walls is an easy 5 min walk. There is a music school nearby so on some days you can hear lovely notes wafting across the private gated parking area behind the apartment. We loved everything about this apartment: the location, the very kind owners (who live upstairs), Mrs. Sonia, and Lucca. Looking forward to returning next year!

Casa Giustina is a stylish apartment located on the ground floor of an antique palace along a central quiet street inside the walls of Lucca.
The apartment has all modern comforts and a beautiful view over a lovely 'secret' garden. The accommodation features a WIFI Internet connection, a satellite TV and it's air conditioned.
Composition:
The apartment offers a comfortable and elegant accommodation for up to four guests. It features a spacious double bedroom with a king size bed, where you can rest and relax. The bathroom is modern and stylish, with a built-in shower that is very large and has a little window overlooking the garden. The living room is cosy and inviting, with a double sofa bed that can sleep two more people. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals, including a dishwasher, a washer and dryer, a freezer, a refrigerator, a kettle, a toaster, a coffee maker, and a 4 ring stove.
The closest Parking Cittadella is located in a walking distance from the rental property, so leaving the car there prior reaching the apartment is essential. By following the road signs you will be able to avoid the ZTL area while driving to the parking.
We kindly inform all guests that the rental property is self catering so hotel-like services are excluded by law (reception, surveillance of the accommodation, provision of meals and drinks, daily cleaning and linen change, transfers). For such reason any additional service can be provided on request and with the collaboration of external qualified partners and charged accordingly.
