You’ll be welcomed to Villa Aperitivo by a traditional atmosphere of the times gone by. Start each morning of your holiday with a refreshing bath in the private swimming pool in front of the stone house, finish with a glass of wine on the four poster sunbed with panoramic view over the Compitese hills, and, in between, enjoy amenities like a TV, Wi-Fi and a fully equipped kitchen. The house is also partially air-conditioned (bedrooms only).
The villa is a private farmhouse retreat bursting with charm and character. Step through its stone façade and into beautifully restored interiors with classic cotto floors, beamed ceilings and antique accent pieces. The villa is located on the hills of Compitese, nearby Lucca (9 kms from Lucca old town) by the village of San Ginese di Compito. Nearby Lago della Gherardesca (amazing small lake with bird oasis) and easy access to both train station and highway junction to reach:

-Pisa, The beaches of Versilia (Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi and Lido di Camaiore), Pistoia, Montecarlo, Montecatini Terme and Livorno in less than 30 mins by car;

- Florence, San Gimignano, Bolgheri, Volterra, Lajatico, La Spezia, Cinque Terre, Garfagnana in less than 1 hour by car;

- Siena, Bologna in less than 1 and a half hour by car;

- Arezzo, Portofino and Parma in less than 2 hours by car.
