The TV is not placed to be viewed easily from the sofa as the dining table is in front of it. The lift up to the 3rd floor was a must for me as I have arthritis, but beware if you are claustrophobic as it is literally large enough for 2 people only. All of these things are minor but didn't stop us having a great stay!

The apartment was exactly as per the photos, clean, comfortable and very quiet. We loved the terrace and appreciated the sun umbrella on hot days. We were met by lovely Elizabeth who was amenable to an early checkin and was there at the apartment whesee more

We were met by lovely Elizabeth who was amenable to an early checkin and was there at the apartment when we arrived, no waiting around. The little lift was perfect for the two of us, we did not use the stairs once. Make sure you know where the fuse box is located as sometimes the powers goes out, but it's very easy to fix. Car parking at Cittadella Car park was 12 minutes walk, get details from the staff about how to get a 50E for 1 month parking card usually parking is 15E's per day.

We thoroughly enjoyed the terrace and the gentle sounds coming from the music school during the day. The bonus is the elevator, though it is very tiny!!! One person with one case maximum at a time. At the time of our visit there were no bikes with the apartment. Be sure to confirm exactly how to pick up the keys. We loved Itaco Pizza for pizza and other dishes. Cibo e Convivio was a favorite since in addition to being a trattoria, it has fresh pasta and sauce you can cook at home.

This is a beautiful apartment, super clean, and really had everything we could have needed. The location was great, we had a little trouble with (Hidden by Airbnb) maps on arrival, but we were just down the street at the wrong number. They have a wonderful binder of information, air conditioning worked great. Nice kitchen and bathroom. It’s not huge, but it was bigger than we expected and so much better than a hotel room. The rooftop terrace was really awesome, lots of steps to get to the apartment, which we expect in Europe, but this had a lot of steps. Not trying to criticize, but not for the less mobile as the elevator was broken the first daytwo, and was so small we opted not to ride in it... And it was hot. The bikes were great, it’s a great town to bike around the wall, even if you have not biked in years. She gave us an amazing food tip, pizza at Da Felice, tiny place, better for takeaway, but omg, delicious. We went twice. We recommend it, they had too many keys to keep track of, but we loved the lovable and it was immaculate and lovely.

Lucca is a fantastic town, it has so much to offer. We walked on the wall every day, sometimes twice! The architecture is beautiful and the streets and shops are delightful. We wish we’d had longer here. Sonia was also most helpful, the whole experience has been wonderful. |

We loved staying in this apartment for our time in Lucca. The location is fantastic, we spent our first night sitting on our lovely terrace listening to music wafting up from the conservatory, whilst having a delicious platter we whipped together from the supermarket nearby and drinking prosecco! The apartment had everything we needed and the bed was so comfortable. Mrs Sonia was very helpful, meeting us at the apartment to let us in and give advice about the area and a few quirks of the apartment. I must also mention Chiara and Paolo who are part of Mrs Sonia's team who helped us out when we had a problem, that was quickly fixed. The only thing I would recommend would be another mirror out of the bathroom, so you can finish makeup/hair whilst the bathroom is being used, but that is just a minor thing, as we managed. We absolutely loved Lucca and hope to return one day.

We had a wonderful week's stay in Lucca at Sidrak's place. This was our first trip to the area and we fell in love with it. The apartment is as pictured and decorated to a high standard. The outside terrace is truly special and although it was October, we ate our breakfastlunch outside every day. The nearby music school often provided background music which was beautiful. From the terrace you can see the Guinigi Tower and Cathedral. The space was perfect for our party of 2 adults and 1 child. Kitchen was well equipped to prepare meals. The location is perfect. You can walk to the Cathedral, Guinigi Tower, bike hire ( would highly recommend Tuscan Bike Tours), city walls, supermarket and a host of restaurants etc. The apartment comes with 2 bikes which we used every day, a great bonus. There is a tiny shared lift to take you straight to the apartmenta very grand staircase accessed separately. We would heartily recommend Sidrak's apartment - book without hesitation.

Communication was so easy, always a quick response before and during the booking. The terrace is absolutely incredible, overlooking a church where there was always quiet music playing. It felt like our own private concert. The bikes provided worked out great to ride the walls and tour the city. Shopping is just out the doorstep as is any groceries you may need. We were absolutely in heaven here and would book anyone we knew into this apartment.

The apartment was clean and as advertised! The only slightly unexpected thing was that the terrace is attached to other terraces, this wasn‘t a problem for us, still that was the only thing that wasn‘t exactly as we had understood from the pictures. see more

This is a very well appointed apartment with a delightful private roof terrace in an equally delightful square opposite the music school - see photo (so we were serenaded by some exceptional musicians.) Its central location is perfect to explore Luccsee more
This is a very well appointed apartment with a delightful private roof terrace in an equally delightful square opposite the music school - see photo (so we were serenaded by some exceptional musicians.) Its central location is perfect to explore Lucca, which is a gem of a town - we loved it. Do ask about lift/stairs arrangements, and both pressure and temperature of shower water somewhat unpredictable, but apartment beautiful. We definitely recommend and would be very happy to return/ re-book with Mrs. Sonia.
