I enjoyed my stay at this wonderful tranquil apartment very much. On one hand the casa is close to everything on the other hand it provides you with privacy in a quiet neighborhood. The outside patio had been my favorite place. As mosquitos are common in the Mediterranean, I had repellent with me and now issues and I had been cautious to open the windows with lights on. I appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and how tasteful the owner furnished the casa. All restaurants I tried had been great and for self-catering the Conrad supermarket close to the Torre Guinigi provided the best selection, however I also loved the small stores. For me Lucca had been the perfect place to explore Tuscany and I would love to come back. Britta - June 2024.

We were met by Sonia who let us in and quickly took care of the fact that the apartment had not been cleaned from the previous guest. We returned after a leisurely lunch in the piazza to find the place nicely cleaned. The garden terrace is wonderful and really expands the usable space of the property. One note, the unit is, as we were informed when requesting additional toiletries, "a self catering apartment" so be prepared to purchase additional items (toilet paper, soap shampoo), breakfast, coffee etc. which is quite easy as there are several small markets within walking distance. All in all a really nice place from which exploring Lucca is a pleasure.

We have been in this marvellous luxury apartment for and we have no doubt about it was a great idea. Very clean, with pretty rooms, large bathrooms and a complete kitchen we were here for 10 days like if we where at our own home. The private parking of the apartment is also an highlight and very convenient and helped us saving money.
The apartment is 100 meters from the main monuments, so, its very near from Via Fillungo (1 minute walking), Duomo (3 minutes on foot) and Torre Guinigi (2 minutes on foot). There is a Sidis Supermarket previously to Carmine Square –right behind the building- with a very good quality products and a complete wine selection. It opens daily from 9 to 7 so, its perfect to adquire food, cheese, saleme and a good bottle of wine. Sonia, the girl that recives us, was very kind and simpatic, she helped us to find a good place to take dinner. She was always available over the phone for our needs. She was very sweet and attentive to us. She recommend (and we can assure it was a good choice) the near restaurant "Canuleia", for take a good "Bistecca" and the excellent “Tordelli” and to prove ice creams in "Veneta", in Via Vittorio Veneto. We absolutely recommend this apartment to everyone who wants to visit Lucca. We felt like at home. Thank you! Arja and Ulf from Norway |

Communication with the agency and even the owner was easy and they were all very helpful. To mention is also the little balcony and the table and chairs in the garden directly in front of the entrance to the appartment - it’s secluded and perfect for a breakfastlunch in the sun. We would stay there again if we were to return to Lucca!

My husband and I rented this flat during our recent travel around Tuscany and we loved it. This was our second visit to Lucca and again we rented from Mrs Sonia, a lady on a bicycle (they all ride bikes in Lucca) who let us in and made sure we knew hsee more
My husband and I rented this flat during our recent travel around Tuscany and we loved it. This was our second visit to Lucca and again we rented from Mrs Sonia, a lady on a bicycle (they all ride bikes in Lucca) who let us in and made sure we knew how everything worked. Traveling to and from the major sights was easy, it just required no longer than 5 miutes of walking to get to the bus stop, train station and the great monuments. The flat is exactly as you see on the pictures, only it's more charming in reality. Sonia is a wonderful resource and is a fountain of information and answered all of our questions proir to arrival. She even left a bottle of wine and a snack for us. The flat is extremely clean and well appointed with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. All cooking utensils supplied, dishwasher, washing machine, 2 bikes, luxury shower and plenty of hot water, oh and super fast broadband included, that was a great bonus! The small grocery around the corner was convenient and we found an excellent restaurant 'Gli Orti' nearby. The apartment faces an antique 1300s villa with garden which Sonia told us belonged to the lord of Lucca (today is a wonderful museum) while the Lucca bespoken museum of contemporary art is located over the corner and has a modern famous restaurant on the ground floor. Worth the trip! And the flat was a welcoming, comfortable oasis for us after long days of sightseeing. The owner even provides a wealth of well organized tourist information in the flat, which was very helpful to us.
Now we understand why everyone knows Sonia as she have the best properties in town. |

It was an easy walk to the main train station where we were able to take day trips to Pisa, Lucca, and even Cinque Terre. We had our baby (11mos) with us, and a crib was provided. The place was fantastic. The lovely owners have furnished the rooms with extreme care, everything is new and the kitchen was fully equipped with anything you could need to prepare wonderful meals and the beds were very comfortable. They also have left a music CD of their piano music! They are wonderful! We also had wi-fi internet for free in every room. There was a lovely view of the garden with the antique trees from the windows. A grocery store, bakeries and restaurants right around the corner. Me and my husband we would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to visit Lucca. |

It is only a 10-15 minute walk to the center of town with cafes and good grocery store nearby. Mrs. Sonia was very quick to get back to me when I had questions. I would definitely stay here again.

We were very happy with our stay at Casa Patricia. The apartment was nice, peaceful, clean, safe, new and well-maintained. The private garden was big and lovely, even nicer as it seems in the photos. We could park our rented car easily with the electsee more
We were very happy with our stay at Casa Patricia. The apartment was nice, peaceful, clean, safe, new and well-maintained. The private garden was big and lovely, even nicer as it seems in the photos. We could park our rented car easily with the electronic gate. The location was good, it was near the market and the Anfiteatro with an easy access to the railway station to reach Florence and Pisa. The beach was pretty near too. It was nice to walk along the beach in winter with the view of the mountains with snow. Lucca had very nice shopping opportunities, the price level was low compared to Romebigger cities. We found also very nice restaurants near the apartment. There are plenty of shops and groceries nearby, and some really good restaurants (our favourite was Imbuto half block away from the apartment) Mrs Sonia was very helpful and very easy to contact. She have been so lovely and provided many precious suggestions for places to visit and where to eat. It was our third time renting from her and next april we will rent her aunt’s villa on the hills for the second time. We can fully recommend Casa Patricia and we could have another vacation there whenever. Scott and Beth
