It’s less than a 5-minute walk to both the medieval splendour of St.Michele Square and the famous Anfiteatro which are the Lucca landmarks as well as the Guinigi Tower, Antique Market, Train Station and public car Parking.

The marble-faced Church of San Francesco, also 2 minutes away, is primarily a church but on the opposite side you can try the Lu.C.C.A. Center of Contemporary Art. Bring the family out in the square for a glass of local wine, or little bar bites, or relive your honeymoon over a lengthier dinner at a canal-side restaurant along Via del Fosso.
