The weather up in the hills was a few degrees lower than e.g. in Lucca, but this was also a positive thing for us - it was warm enough to swim etc. in the middle of September.
The floor plan of the villa worked nicely also for two families with kids. There was a good variety of kitchen utensils for cooking. |

The elements, the sounds, aromas light and feel of the air around Dondalino is unique in our experience. It's setting brings drama of sunsets and sunrises, breezes and zephyrs that keep a freshness when elsewhere the atmosphere is stuffy and the light in the gardens and around the pool and the house is very special in the low hillside air. Our hosts were brilliant and the agency helped make our month long summer stay with family very special. Definitely hope to visit again

It had everything we wanted in a villa and more. The pictures just can not do it justice and it took our breath away when we first arrived. We visited Florence, Cinque Terre, San Gimignano, Viareggio and a lovely little town at the top of a mountain, Pedona. We always loved coming back to our villa/home.

Wij hebben met z'n zessen een heerlijke tijd gehad hier. Eten op het terras, zwemmen tot s'avonds laat in een verlicht zwembad en de auto's op eigen terrein.

Kan het iedereen aanraden want het is de prijs echt waard. enige verbeterpunt kan zijn dat de bedden wat minder zijn voor een huis op dit niveau. |
