Perfekt geeignet für größere Gruppen bis zu 14 Gästen, besteht die Immobilie aus einem Hauptgebäude und seinem Nebengebäude. Zwei Treppenhäuser führen zu zwei separaten Bereichen im ersten Stock des Hauptgebäudes. Im ersten Stock befinden sich 5 Schlafzimmer und 4 Badezimmer:
- 1 Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Badezimmer mit Badewanne und eingebauter Dusche;
- 2 Doppelzimmer mit 2 Ensuite-Badezimmern mit eingebauten Duschen;
- 1 Doppelzimmer und 1 Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten, die sich ein Badezimmer mit eingebauter Dusche teilen
Die Villa beeindruckt im Erdgeschoss mit freigelegten Steinwänden und Gewölbedecken, wo sich ein Thermal Salts Indoor-Hallenbad befindet. Während man im warmen Wasser badet und die Whirlpools genießt sowie den herrlichen Blick über Wälder und Hügel bewundert, wird ein herzerwärmender Kamin Frieden und Charme zu Ihren Entspannungsmomenten hinzufügen.
Der Anbau befindet sich direkt neben dem Hauptgebäude (nur 10 Meter entfernt) und verfügt über eine großartige Terrasse, die als Lounge ausgestattet ist, mit Blick und direktem Zugang zum schattigen Außenbereich des Hauptgebäudes und zur Whirlpool-Wanne, die zwischen einer gepflegten Gartenterrasse mit Blick auf einen Wasserfall im Wald versteckt ist. Der Anbau bietet 1 Zimmersuite mit einem Kingsize-Bett und Wohnbereich sowie 1 Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten. Die beiden Schlafzimmer teilen sich ein Badezimmer mit einer eingebauten Dusche, und beide verfügen über französische Fenster, die auf die Panoramaterrasse mit Aussicht führen.

Wir haben uns unglaublich wohlgefühlt. Bei uns war der älteste 85 Jahre und der Jüngste 5 Monate. Insgesamt waren wir 14 Personen. Das Haus ist so toll gestaltet, dass jeder seinen eigenen Bereich hatte und die gemeinsame Fläche umfasst das gesamte mehr anzeigen

Das Haus ist so toll gestaltet, dass jeder seinen eigenen Bereich hatte und die gemeinsame Fläche umfasst das gesamte untere Stockwerk. Das Highlight ist die Grotte. Super geeignet für lauschige Abende. Wir wollen auf alle Fälle wieder kommen. Alle waren begeistert.

Villa il Palagio is a Tuscan dream come true, and exquisite in every detail. The furnishings and fittings are all generous and lovely, and the setting is glorious (a garden filled with birdsong, the heavenly scent of roses, and the pervasive murmuring of the ancient mill waterfall in the background). Directly from the door, there are delightful walks amidst vineyards and olive groves, while numerous medieval cities, villas, historic churches, magical seaside villages, and mountain vistas are all within easy reach by car. Our hosts, Francesco and Daniela, could not have been more charming and helpful, and an olive oil and wine tasting, with delicious, locally-sourced dinner at Francesco's family's historic Fattoria Maionchi on our final evening was a highlight of our stay (and cannot be more highly recommended)!
Although there were only three of us staying at the villa (my husband, myself and a friend), we felt that our stay was very reasonable, considering the wealth of luxurious features the villa possesses. Because the bedrooms are divided into three separate "suites", there is a high level of privacy, despite the number of bedrooms. The villa is particularly perfect for history buffs, as it's been sympathetically restored from its former function as a mill house, retaining time-worm stone sinks and the palimpsest of former windows, doors, and mill apertures still visible in its sun-soaked walls. It was truly difficult to leave this magical place! |

Although the villa is exceedingly well stocked with dinnerware, cooking implements and appliances, etc., the lack of a dish sponge and detergent make keeping things tidy difficult. We went and got our own, but these necessities are normally present mehr anzeigen

Likewise, most rental homes provide basics like pepper, a small bottle of olive oil, initial supply of coffee, and (in the UK at least), a small carton of milk, which are particularly appreciated by overseas travellers who arrive at the villa having travelled for two days and a night. This was a particular problem for us, as we hadn't realized until a few days before our arrival that we were landing in Italy on a national holiday (Primo maggio), and that all the shops were closed. As it was, Daniela told us where to find a pasticceria ... but it would have been so lovely to have had a leisurely morning coffee at the villa on our first day! Luxury home rentals in the UK provide not only these basics, but also eggs, a loaf of bread, fruit, cheese, etc. It's a classy way to say "welcome" on the first morning in a foreign land. We DID appreciate Francesco's gift of a bottle of very fine wine, though! Another suggestion is to mount a convex mirror for the sharp turning in the road below the master bedroom of the villa. This might prevent the incessant horn-blowing, which begins quite early in the day, and continues until dusk. These are minor suggestions to improve to what was otherwise a PERFECT holiday! |

Villa Il Palagio is truly special. We went with some very experienced travelers and everyone agreed the villa is a unique find and is amazing! From its lovely and well- appointed common areas, to its large bedrooms, lovely grounds/pool and awesome grotto, everything was perfect. More importantly, the owners Francesco & family are wonderful people and the tasting and lunch at their winery is a must (food and wine are great and history even better). We also developed many friendships during our month stay. We very much enjoyed our chefs from Chefs in Tuscany ( Lena& Rachele), Francesco Piacentini and our two favorites- Alice Dami ( cooked for Queen) and Tonino & Katia Tizzano (laid out an unbelievable spread.) In Lucca check out Antica Locanda Dell'Angelo- ask for Vito. If you are heading to Florence special olive oil experience at Villa Monteoriolo (Eleanora and family are lovely). Recommend eating at Trattoria Dell' Oca (best we tasted in Florence - ask for Massimo). If you need a boat to go to Cinque Terra, only one place to call Versilia Rents (owners Andrea and Veronica are great). Finally, the best driver in Tuscany is Stefano Palmieri Tuscan Sunshine Tours . Roberto Petrucci Cortona Private Tours is great and can also help with tours. An unbelievable time and we will be back for sure.

The outdoor areas were lovely and well-maintained, with a picturesque garden and perfect pool a few steps below surrounded by olive trees. We particularly enjoyed the indoor grotto pool - it felt like your own personal spa! Francesco was a gracious host and was helpful and responsive throughout our stay. We would strongly recommend visiting his winery just a quick walk down the road, Fattoria Maionchi. Delicious wine and olive oil in a place steeped with history. Lastly, we would also recommend hiring chefs especially for larger groups like ourselves. Larissa and Valentino of TastEmotions are local Lucca-based chefs who are familiar with the villa and our host - their food and service was truly spectacular and outshined well regarded restaurants in Florence. It was an unforgettable time and we hope to be back soon!

Knowing where to find excellent pasta ,pastries, bread, wine, produce restaurants and of course shopping made the rest of our stay even better. It was nice of you to introduce us to many of the shop owners and experience their pride and passion for their establishments. Also it was so much fun seeing how much you love Lucca and your enthusiasm for all things local....it just made us appreciate how awesome Lucca is. The trip to Monte Carlo to Buonamico Winery was outstanding. It helped so much that you knew the owner and staff…so we were treated so special. The wine tasting, the tour and the lunch were fantastic. The winery staff were clearly very proud of all the premises and the fantastic wine. Stephane the driver you arranged was great as well...we felt safe and he made it a fun drive. We will definitely return to Lucca, what you were able to show us is a big reason for that! We reserved this villa for my family and a group of friends to enjoy a couple of weeks ago. It was a bit like time travel to a more peaceful time with beautiful scenery, lovely people and a surprise around every corner. The villa has a rich 300 year old history and I felt like I was living in a storybook. The villa is incredible and perfect for a large group. The property owner, Nicola, and all his staff really went above and beyond on the service. We had a bit of an emergency while there and without being asked, Nicola and Sidrak showed up to help with translation and transportation. Without their help I don’t know what we’d have done. And the lovely chef they recommended we hire, Alice, along with Paolo and Elisabetta, truly made the most delicious meals I had during the entire three weeks we were traveling in Italy. And when we were working through our emergency, again without being asked, Alice sprang into action and also went out of her way to help us. I would definitely recommend the villa and the chef! And don’t miss out on a wine tasting at Nicola’s winery just down the street. Great wine and an amazing history that goes back seven generations. Wish I was still there! Pretty countryside and close to some vineyards, lovely walks and also walkable (just) to the village for restaurants if required. We had Cristina prepare a welcome dinner and also she came to give us a cookery lesson which was great fun. We'd also recommend 'Tuscany Ride a Bike' in Lucca - we organised a bike ride with a guide which included lunch at a farm.

The grounds were beautiful, the garden was romantic and elegant with many lemon trees and the ga-zebo on the top of the fortress surrounding the property with a breathtaking view. The heated pool was a welcome relief in the afternoon and well used by our children. We were also blessed with a lovely owner available for our request and always met with a big smile. Sonia, the host, was outstanding. She was like a personal concierge. She helped arran-ge anything we needed during our excursions thru Tuscany. Advice on best places to see, best spots to park, best restaurants to visit. This is my 8th visit to Italy, but I saw it through new eyes. This note is just to say how much we loved our stay in Villa Il Palagio. This Villa was the PERFECT way to appreciate Tuscany: it's location, the views, and especially the hospitality, It is a magical place! We loved every moment. A million thanks.

Nur knapp außerhalb des Dorfes Marlia und in der Nähe des Weilers Valgiano gelegen, bringt Sie Villa Noa nur eine kurze Fahrt von der Altstadt Luccas entfernt, sowie in die Nähe einer Vielzahl von Geschäften, Supermärkten, Restaurants, Lebensmittelgeschäften, Delikatessenläden, Bäckereien und vielem mehr im Dorf Marlia. Sobald Sie in der Villa Noa sind, holen Sie sich etwas Lesestoff unter schattigen Pergolen, arbeiten Sie an Ihrer Bräune am herrlichen Infinity-Swimmingpool und nutzen Sie die Whirlpool-Ecke, während Sie von Ihrer privaten Aussicht umgeben sind. Florenz, San Gimignano, Versilia-Küste, Chianti-Weinregion und Cinque Terre (fünf traumartige Dörfer, die entlang der dramatischen Küste gebaut wurden) sind ebenfalls fabelhaft historische Stätten, die Sie während Ihres Aufenthalts besuchen können und die ungefähr eine Stunde Fahrtzeit entfernt sind. Pistoia, Volterra, Siena, Bolgheri, Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi, Garfagnana, Valdinievole und die Versilia-Küste sind ebenfalls alle leicht erreichbar. Hinweis: Kamine sind nicht nutzbar.
Die Anzahl der Gäste muss der maximalen Belegung entsprechen, Kinder inbegriffen, und es sind keine zusätzlichen Gäste, Partys oder Veranstaltungen erlaubt.
