The location and the balcony are fantastic. The apartment itself is well-appointed and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, and when I asked for a better butcher knife, the manager provided an excellent new knife.

The double bed in the main bedroom is hard and would be significantly improved with either a new mattress or a foam topper on top of the existing mattress. We are booked for two weeks next September 2025 and would really like to see this improved. Almehr anzeigen

We had to leave for 90 minutes or so while the unit was cleaned.

My wife and I were so pleased with Cache 3 where we spent 11 days while in Lucca. The location was ideal, close to all shopping and restaurants, bakeries and markets yet far enough off the beaten path where it was a very quiet piazza. The apartment imehr anzeigen
My wife and I were so pleased with Cache 3 where we spent 11 days while in Lucca. The location was ideal, close to all shopping and restaurants, bakeries and markets yet far enough off the beaten path where it was a very quiet piazza. The apartment it’s self is very functional with great views from every window. The only slight drawback is the lift is slow. But that was countered by not having to walk four flights of stairs a few times a day so not really a big issue. We would certainly stay there again on our next trip to Lucca.

In fact we used the balcony for our daughter's wedding ceremony. Since the apartment was on the third floor, the elevator was very useful for luggage and tired feet at the end of the day touring Lucca. We highly recommend this apartment for future Lucca travelers.

Lovely flat in the old town Lucca! It has everything we needed and more. Perfekt silence and view over the rooftops of the city and Tuscan hills. Everything that we needed was in foot distance. Just going directly to the front of the building is not mehr anzeigen

Stayed for 7 nights in mid Sept. in this delightful apartment in the lovely town of Lucca. The apartment is perfectly situated by the San Giovanni church. Here each night they have a Puccini recital which we attended 3 times. A wonderful hours entertmehr anzeigen
Stayed for 7 nights in mid Sept. in this delightful apartment in the lovely town of Lucca. The apartment is perfectly situated by the San Giovanni church. Here each night they have a Puccini recital which we attended 3 times. A wonderful hours entertainment of top quality operatic singing. The apartment itself is on the top floor with a lovely terrace giving great views over the rooftops and the mountains behind. The bedrooms are on the opposite side and overlook the Piazza with the church. This gives plenty of opportunities to people watch from above ! The apartment is clean and has 2 bathrooms each with a shower ( no bath ) . The kitchen has all the appliances needed although no toaster. Air conditioning is in the living room and kitchen area only, not in the bedrooms. With the doors closed it could get a little warm at night but nothing too bad. Location is excellent as the main shopping street, Via Fullingo is a 3 minute walk away. Everything is on your doorstep but in a quiet setting. No noise at night so lovely and quiet. Lastly there is a lift to the apartment which is amusingly pedestrian but it does help with the luggage etc. Sonja met us on arrival and was very helpful and enthusiastic and gave us advice and tips on getting the best from her home town. I would happily return here next time we stay in Lucca. Highly recommended.

Yes, it is slow as previous guests have stated, but when you have luggage, groceriesif you are tired it is great to have. The apartment is well designed with two bedrooms and two baths. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. There is a laundry room with drying racks. The terrace is amazing, I just wish that we had used it more but we were constantly on the go. The apartment is located in a piazza along with the church of San Giovanni. They have nightly Puccini concerts which we highly recommend. Great restaurants are close by. The information booklet that the owners put together is very helpful and I recommend taking their advice. This is a great place to stay.

Very nice Lucca apartment for three people. This apartment has an exceptional terrace and good kitchen space. The neighborhood is very upscale and safe. Closest access to train is a 10 minute walk. The Train links Lucca to everywhere and it is very emehr anzeigen
Very nice Lucca apartment for three people. This apartment has an exceptional terrace and good kitchen space. The neighborhood is very upscale and safe. Closest access to train is a 10 minute walk. The Train links Lucca to everywhere and it is very easy to understand. Closest grocery store is Il Cuore at Piazza San Giusto, half block away. It's the best grocery in town, with a very nice wine and delicacies selection. At first glance there doesn't appear to be many restaurants within easy walking distance as the square looks so quiet, but a little exploration proved otherwise. We ate at Giglio (almost in front of the apartment, 1 michelin star restaurant), Blend (great for cocktails too), Olio su Tavolo (contemporary art gallery with kitchen, so charming) and many others. All of these restaurants were excellent. Don't forget to have an italian old fashioned drink at the bar down in the square. Very comfortable, homey cafe.
