The Teflon pans were all scratched, so unfortunately you couldn’t use them. Also we missed some dishwashing liquid.

This was our fourth stay in Lucca using Lucca Apartments and Villas. They have all been first class but this one was something else. This very well located modern, uncluttered apartment was immaculate and well equipped with high quality cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. The two bathrooms were superb, both with high pressure rain showers. Bedrooms were spacious with very comfortable beds and the air conditioning was very efficient. The best part for us was having that small balcony, just big enough for two chairs where we sat (glass in hand) watching people stroll up and down the street between San Michele and Piazza Napoleone. Being so close to Piazza Napoleone meant we also got to hear the Lucca Festival concerts for free (Rod Stewart in fact). It was great to have a lift instead of walking up flights of stairs with bags of shopping. We just didn’t want to leave, so much so that we went to the office and booked for next year before we left … never done that before ever. Thank you Lucca Apartments and Villas.

Lucca was a delightful area for us to use as our base to visit other attractions in the area and the apartment was only a short jaunt to the train station. Will definitely recommend to friends and family who may be considering Lucca as their destination while in Italy.
